Our record will be coming out on Simon Holmer's Plus One Records operating outta Skinnys Music (Distro by Reverberation). We've gonna try and sell about 250,000 units. That's the ballpark figure.

Iron On has a new drummer. Her name is Marieca (pronounced Mar-ree-sa). She is currently learning the songs and trying to decode Iron On's secret language (which is a least 30% Ewok).
Thanks to everyone who contacted us about our ads, so many of you were rad. Especially Ben Matson from Diplomat. You should got and buy his band's EP 'The Divine And The Impure', that shit will blow your mind. Special thanks also to Simon from Lismore who will no doubt destroy you in some future noise-rock ensemble. Gentlemen, we take our hats off to you both.
New Shows
New shows have been added to the Gig Guide. To surmise: We're playing two shows on Friday July the 8th, one at Valley Fiesta w/ Spod and later that night at The Rev w/ The Giants Of Science and Wulvs.
Selling Out Update
Not really. 'Selling out' is actually quite fashionable and hip at the moment and does that sound like us? No, it doesn't. But we now have a manager in the form of Steve Bell. Recently we've all been feeling (a) like we've reached the limits of our own abilities behind the scenes and (b) that we're business-people who occasionally play music as opposed to visa versa. Through-out the years, Steve has acted as a long-time 'go to guy' for the band and so it made sense to us to have him onboard in a more official capacity. Basically, if Steve hadn't shown some interest recently, we'd probably never have gotten over ourselves and got someone onboard. And so it came to pass, thank gawd.
You've probably run into Steve yourself as he's still one of the guys behind the counter at Skinnys and also looks after The Giants Of Science. But if haven't, rest assured he is every bit as approachable as we are and shares all of our ideas about independent music (and has many more of his own).You can still book the band by speaking to one of us (if you prefer it that way) by emailing abandcalledironon@hotmail.com.
