:: We've Finished Recording Our New EP ::

Thank God. Thank Budda. Thank Satan. It's over, the witch is dead. It's offical I hate recording. But it is finished. We been bunkered down for the last two weeks in Bryce Moorhead's Zero Interference studio (now located in sunny Bowen Hills) making a little something called 'Everybody Calm Down'. Its a six track EP, or mini-album (if you will) containing approximately 25 minutes of independently assembled rock music. 75% of the songs we wrote in 2003 since The Understudy are on there and all of them were somewhat accurately committed to tape, ones and zeros.

I'm currently working on artwork and my mental health. It may seem like an obvious 'don't' to some but please, kids, never attempt to find a new place to live whilst making a record...its not productive. I spent the mixing session pouring over rental listings, but I'm *pretty sure* the EP is sounding okay. *PRETTY SURE*...on something I have to live with for the rest of my life. What the fuck? On the up side I'm *absolutely sure* that I can not afford an apartment in West End.

The record, and yes it really is currently/appropriately titled 'Everybody Calm Down' will be released some time in April on our Ruth Street imprint (thru MGM). A launch assaulting your ears and the majority of the Time Off Message Board is slated for early May. I'll post the exact date and some other details soon.
