:: Live To Air on 4zzz Coming Soon ::
Camp Iron On is ticking away. We recorded a live-air session yesterday for Triple Zed. The recording took place at Nasty Studios in West End which was a great spot. Beautiful studio, nice building, nice people, expensive mics and a big ol' elevator like something out of a french movie. The set went pretty smoothly, a few hiccups but that's Iron On live. That's any band live I suppose. The live-to-air sessions are played on Saturdays from 3-4pm. Our session will be broadcasted in the coming weeks and we'll let you know as soon as we know. This is the set-list, we did a few covers:
S-A.B.A.
Butter Of The Breaks
KKK Took My Baby Away [orginally by The Ramones]
That's That Mattress Woman
Best Or Less
Old Cat
Ruddy
Everything Takes Too Long
Arrange Me
I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone [originally by Sleater-Kinney]
:: Livid Festival ::
Please do come and see us at Livid next weekend. We're at 1:30pm on the Zoo stage. Unfortunately this coincides with two bands we wanted to see: half of us wanted to leer in a respectful manner at the hot punk ladies in Gazoonga Attack while the other half wanted to leer in a respectful manner at finely dressed boys in Gelbison. Instead we've got to play, oh well we suppose that's what they're paying us for. Next year we'll ask them to pay us for leering respectfully. We'll have our brand new t-shirts for sale at the festival too.
:: "On The Road Again"..."Shut The Fuck Up Ross!" ::
Yes that's the sort of conversations we'll be having soon. In a month or two Ross Hope will be singing 'We're on the road again..." everytime we leave the servo/motel/state/venue much to the amusement (then later, annoyance) of his band mates as Iron On indeed hit the road again. We'll be conducting an east-coast tour taking in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland in late November and early December. A more solid announcement is coming soon with dates, venues and so forth. We're all super excited.
