:: Back From The Brink Of Flu Death ::

We've all been sick and in Byron Bay. Ian's had the flu. Ross has had the flu. And Kate has had the flu. Nic has been staunch as; no doubt her recent decision to stop eating takeaway pizza has played no small part in this. But did that stop us having a good time at the Full Fathom Five shows? Nah, we'd suitably recovered by then. Lucky. Thanks to the folks who came early to see us at the Zoo and The Great Northern, if in fact any of you did. And thanks certainly to the gentlemen of Full Fathom Five and Ponyloaf, who made us feel welcome despite our complete lack of MIDI skillz. You can read all about the weekend (and see photos of some rad stadium rock show lighting) over here.

:: Go And See Some Other Bands ::

We're taking a few weeks off. Well about two actually. Before we play two shows in one weekend. Again. Check the gig guide for details. But don't worry, we'll be using our time wisely to write new songs and learn other people's songs. Well that's the plan anyway. We may just stay home and watch TV.

:: Tee-Shirts For The People ::

Ergh...t-shirts. People seem to dig them. And we need some recording money. So we argued back and forth for weeks: lamington drive VS t-shirts. T-shirts won out, just. Of course, now we have to design something to put on our shirts, and well, we're a little stuck. Ian usually does most of the designing round Camp Iron On but, well let's be honest, you've seen what he wears...would you want to wear it? His last design incorporated the slogan: "Iron On: N-Scale Stadium Rock". He thought it was hilarious, all the other people in Brisbane who've never done a stocktake in a model train store (ie EVERYONE) didn't get it. Please, help us. Send your design ideas to abandcalledironon@hotmail.com.
